Mark Woolley
Director, Medivate Ltd

Mark was one of the original co-founders of Cardio Solutions in 2005 and was managing director until the company’s acquisition by Healthcare 21 in March 2020.

Previously with Sorin (now CorCym) from 1994 through to 2005 where his final position was UK and Eire Sales Director for heart valves. Mark helped lead Cardio Solutions to be considered one of the best medical device distribution businesses in the UK where they maintained this position for over 15 years. He was instrumental in the formation of Cardio Solutions in securing 2 key suppliers, St Jude heart valves and LSI (Corknot).

Mark Bailham

Mark Bailham was one of the founders and directors at Cardio Solutions. Mark has 25 years’ experience in the MedTech sector and was instrumental in the success of Cardio Solutions.

He identified market opportunities, onboarded relevant products and drove clinical adoption with a broad range of technologies. Along with Mark Woolley he established Cardio Solutions as the UK’s premier distributors in the cardiothoracic space. Prior to Cardio Solutions Mark held both marketing and sales positions at Sorin Group and Pall Medical.

Having worked in the UK medical sector for over 25 years we have established an acute understanding of all the commercial and clinical aspects required to successfully launch, maintain and help cultivate a medical device enterprise.

This includes expertise and proficiency in; market access and navigating the NHS procurement process (NHS Supply Chain), the NICE clinical approval process for new technology, market development, clinical trial site selection, identifying KOL’s and nurture key customer relationships, strategic planning and sales implementation. We offer these uniquely packaged services to either new market entrants or mature businesses looking for an immediate impact on their commercial activity and an increased customer awareness. Medical Innovations (Medivate) has been formed by Mark and Mark as we see a unique opportunity to meet and match the needs of medical device manufacturers with their end users & market place. Medical Innovations has been formed by Mark and Mark to operate as a consultancy and sales agency organisation.
